Why does the ScanSnap Manager icon not appear in the task tray? |

The ScanSnap Manager icon may not be displayed when the user wishes to select "ScanSnap Manager" from the "Startup" function that appears in Windows XP. To display this icon, follow one of the following procedures.
[Procedure 1]
Press Shift + Ctrl + Space keys to display the setting screen.
[Procedure 2]
- Remove "ScanSnap Manager" from "Start" - "Program" - "Startup".
- Reboot the PC.
(Failing to reboot the PC may result in PfuSsMon.exe being removed from the task manager process.)
- After starting the OS, select "ScanSnap Manager" from "Start" - "Program" - "ScanSnap Manager".
