When I turn my PC on, why does the following message appear on my monitor, "The session switching notice cannot be received""? |

If you use Windows XP, depending on the system you are using, the previous message may appear.
Since the previous message does not affect scanning operations, please ignore it.
[For Your Information: why this message statement appears on your monitor.]
Windows XP permits multi-logins, a situation where one person can login on a PC, without the previous user logging off.
ScanSnap may mistakenly read the previous user's settings from its ScanSnap Monitor, when the current user presses the "scan" button. This situation should rarely, if ever, occur. However, to avoid this problem, ScanSnap, which supports Windows XP, has a function that displays a message which disables the previous user's ScanSnap Monitor and activates the current user's ScanSnap Monitor.
This disabling message should appear during the Windows registration process, which occurs when switching ScanSnap users. But depending upon the system, there are times when this message does not appear. If ScanSnap fails after several times to complete this Windows registration process, the "The session switching notice cannot be received," message appears.
