ScanSnap Carrier Sheets (6)

Question Although I have set my ScanSnap for "Automatic blank page removal", it continues to create blank images. Why does this happen?
Answer
ScanSnap may continue to create blank images if you scan irregularly shaped documents or photographs whose reverse sides contain writing. To prevent this from occurring, either scan such items in simplex or place a white sheet of A4 sized paper behind the document.

[Note]
Please change your ScanSnap to the following settings when scanning in simplex.
  1. "Right-click" the "ScanSnap Manager" icon that appears in the task bar and then select "Simplex Scan (Single-sided)", which appears in the "Settings" menu.

  2. Select "Scanning mode" from the "Scan and Save Settings" window.

  3. Select "Simplex Scan (Single-sided)" in the "SCAN button" box.
