ScanSnap Carrier Sheets (4)

Question How can I remove shadows appearing along the edges of scanned images?
Answer
  1. Placing a white sheet of A4 paper behind the document being scanned reduces the intensity of any shadows that may appear.

  2. If any shadows remain after you have placed a white sheet of paper behind the document being scanned, use Adobe® Acrobat® 7.0 or a similar application to remove the shadow by cropping the image to your preferred size. When using Adobe® Acrobat® 7.0, select "Advanced Editing" in the "Tools" menu and proceed to click "Crop tool". Then, delineate the area that you do not want to crop and double click.
