- Easily arrange and view PDF files with a mouse
The bundled "ScanSnap Organizer" displays scanned PDF files as thumbnails. ScanSnap users can view any image in a particular file, without opening it up, just by clicking the directional arrows at the thumbnail. Furthermore, PDF files can be easily rearranged just by "drag and drop" selected images with a mouse.

Use of the included "Carrier Sheet" enables users to scan treasured photographs and documents that they do not wish harmed as well as irregularly shaped documents. ScanSnap is also able to adjust its cropping to fit the size of the scanned document.

The bundled Adobe® Acrobat® 7.0 Standard enables ScanSnap to create tamper proof PDF files that support digital signature verification. Furthermore, ScanSnap created PDF files are fully searchable.

"ScanSnap Manager" enables users to attach passwords to ScanSnap created PDF files. Thus, ensuring that only people who know the assigned password can open the PDF file or even see its thumbnail image.

"ScanSnap Manager" enables users to save up to nine frequently used settings, such as application selections, saving locations and scanning modes. Thus, smoothing out scanning operations by simplifying how scanner settings are changed.
